Past Quests




The Foundation launched the Earth Champions initiative the week prior to the 2000 Olympics in Australia, with the first award given by Nelson Mandela. Since then the initiative has been conducted on three continents, and in three languages. The program is a proven and well-documented initiative backed by eminent environmental experts, including Edward De Bono and Sir Crispin Tickell.

Below are the stories and Champions associated with each past Quest in Australia (2000), Switzerland (2004) and Hong Kong (2008).


LONDON 2011/2012

Earth Champions will be celebrating London’s environmental progress leading up to the London 2012 Olympic Games.





Skoll World Forum at Oxford University March 2011

The Skoll world Forum on Social Entrepreneurship 30 March-1 April 2011. Guest speakers included Queen Noor of Jordan, Desmond Tutu and Lord Sainbury. Fiona Mathews was invited to participate at this very exciting initiative which was founded by Jeff Skoll.
